Login to your OPTAC3 account with your username/password (not 'admin')
- Goto “Company” and then click on the “Non-Drive Day” icon
- Click “Edit” next to any driver
- Click on “Add”
- Click on “New Day”
- Input the name (Description) of the Non-drive/Non-duty day (also referred to as a “Special Day”)
- Select the Day Type
- Non-Duty Statutory for Holiday, Sick, Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Leave
(This will add the 8 hours per day. You need to add 6 for a whole week) - Non-Duty Non Statutory for Rest Day, Funeral, Auth. Absence, Dentist, Hospital, etc.
(No time is allocated to the driver, these are effectively ways of stating why there is no tacho information). - Non-Drive are generally working days which are not recorded using a tachograph, e.g. Training, Yard Duty, Van/Car driving, etc.
(These take longer to input against drivers as you need to record specific times)
- Non-Duty Statutory for Holiday, Sick, Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Leave
- Click on the “Accept” button
- Once the Special days are created you can then save them against drivers.
- Note- this screen can also be used to assign non-duty and non-drive days to the driver.
- “Company” and then click on “Non-Drive Day” – under the “Non Drive Days” tab – this has the most flexibility
- “Company” and then click on “Non-Drive Day” – under the “Multiple Driver Non Duty Days” tab – this is only for Non Duty Statutory/Non-Statutory Days (cannot input Non-drive days) however allows block booking days for multiple drivers.
- In the Calendar View screen (View Data Drivers and then click on the “View Combined Analogue and Digital Data”, also called the Calendar Viewer/Combined Viewer) – this is only for Non Duty Statutory/Non-Statutory Days (cannot input Non-drive days).
Please advise if you need further information for option 1 or 2
For option 3, you can assign the Non-duty days to drivers from the Calendar View
Simply click on the White triangle found in the top corner of the relevant day, select the Non-duty Type and then click on Save.
An unsaved record is shown with an Orange triangle (as shown on the 9th) but a saved record will show as a Green triangle as shown on the 16th.
