Please be sure that your tool is upgraded to the correct version to download your vehicles.
GEN2 tachograph fitted vehicles, delivered after August 2023, require the OPTAC DLT to be upgraded.
If you haven't upgraded the OPTAC DLT, please contact Customer Support on 01382 866 302.
If your tool is the correct version, please ensure that your company card is correctly inserted in either slot number 1 or 2 of your tachograph. Then switch on the OPTAC Download Tool and connect it to the tachograph.
- Press the 'Full Download'-button. (This will download up to a year worth of data)
- Press the 'Partial Download'-button (This will download data recorded since the previous download)
Four green LED's will be flashing to indicate that the tool is downloading.
If the download is successful, one green light will come on. You can then unplug the cable and take the company card out of the tachograph.
If the download is not successful, the tool will show a red light. Please make sure that cables are properly plugged in and try again.
