Driver App - Pairing Device (iOS)
ELD Pairing Apple iPhone iOS Bluetooth Driver App
Troubleshooting Steps 1:
- Close the driver app completely
- Hold the button on the ELD until it beeps 3 times.
- Go to the settings on the iPhone > Bluetooth > Find the ELD in the list of Bluetooth devices > press the 'I' with a circle around it > press 'Forget Device'
- Open the driver application, press choose device, if a device is listed press the X to delete the device from the list.
- Press pair new device, select the device when it appears.
- Enter label for the device, press pair and connect, press the button on the ELD to turn the light green, press OK.
- Enter Bluetooth PIN, and then tap on OK.
- Enter username and password.
- If the device fails to connect for android after this process, try the following steps.
Troubleshooting Steps 2:
- Go to Phone Settings.
- Bluetooth Phone Setting.
- Tap on the (i) circle icon beside EZ-ELD900xxx and then tap on Forget Device.
- Tap EZ-ELD900xxx again - This will cause the BT pairing request to show but the device settings won't prompt to click the EZ-ELD button once.
- Before entering BT Pin make sure to press EZ-ELD middle button first then enter BT PIN.
- After connecting through the settings, you'll be informed to re-enter into EZ-ELD application and pair as normal.
Troubleshooting Steps 3:
- Unplug and replug EZ-ELD. Make sure it's tightly connected.
- Wait 90 seconds till LED light change to green.
- Open Driver app and pair new device.
Troubleshooting Steps 4:
- Uninstall and Reinstall Driver app.
- Restart Phone.
- Press EZ-ELD Middle button until hear 3 beeps.
- Pair new device.
Troubleshooting Steps 5:
- Please try another phone or tablet to isolate the issue and see if it will work.
