As part of our ongoing commitment to quality improvement, Stoneridge is implementing enhancements to the Orlaco FAMOS camera. These upgrades will result in increased durability, ensuring reliable performance throughout its lifespan. To accurately track these improvements, Stoneridge is introducing new part numbers for all FAMOS cameras.
Due to the high volume of FAMOS camera variants, we are working diligently to update our systems and production lines. This process will continue until January 2025. Dealers can expect to be contacted by Stoneridge as soon as the camera they have ordered transitions to the new part number. To facilitate the transition, dealers will be asked to update their purchase orders with the new part number.
Please note that the FAMOS cameras' electronic design, components, form, fit, and function remain unchanged. All certifications remain valid, and there will be no visual differences or changes to the product's pricing.
