New Orlaco Dealer Lusilectra in Training at Stoneridge Barneveld

João Baptista and Paulo Inacio from Lusilectra visited Stoneridge Barneveld for a technical training. Lusilectra has recently become an official Orlaco dealer in Spain and Portugal, and they were trained by colleagues Bert Franken and Matijs van Moorsel.

Lusilectra, part of Salvador Caetano Group, has long been a well-known name in the Spanish and Portuguese forklift market; the company distributes Bobcat (Doosan) and Toyota forklifts in Portugal. With the expansion of their portfolio to include Orlaco-branded products, Lusilectra is now focusing on installing mast cables for various forklift visibility solutions, which requires specific expertise.

Training
Stoneridge employees Bert Franken and Matijs van Moorsel provided João and Paulo with extensive training, essential for Lusilectra's new activities. In addition to comprehensive technical sessions in Barneveld, a visit was made to Motrac Linde in Almere. There, former Stoneridge colleague Marcel Brits, now an installation technician at Orlaco Dealer Wiegel, demonstrated the installation of a camera system. He also shared valuable tips and tricks for setups on different types of masts.

The guests were also given a tour of Barneveld in the Stoneridge demo truck. Although Lusilectra already has experience with MirrorEye, as they supply the Caetano bus factory in Portugal with MirrorEye Peregrine, experiencing this advanced system in a DAF truck cab was a special experience.

Important Step
Lusilectra will soon begin setting up the distribution of Orlaco Vision Systems and establishing an installation service for the forklift network in Spain and Portugal. This new collaboration marks significant steps in the further specialization and growth of Lusilectra in the forklift market.
