Driver App - Pairing Device (Android)

ELD Pairing Bluetooth Android Driver App

Troubleshooting Steps 1:

  1. Hold down the button on the EZ-ELD until it beeps 3 times.
  2. Open the driver application, press Choose a Device, if a device is listed press the X to delete the device from the list.
  3. Press Pair New Device, and then select the device when it appears.
  4. Enter label for the device, press pair and connect, press the button on the ELD to turn the light green, press OK.
  5. Enter Bluetooth PIN, and then click on "OK".
    • Note: You will hear a beep that indicates that you are paired to the device. Bluetooth PIN is visible on the label of the device, on the QR code sticker or on the back label of the Driver's Manual.
  6. Enter username and password, or enter the invitation key if prompted.

Troubleshooting Steps 2:

  1. Go to Phone Settings.
  2. Bluetooth Phone Setting.
  3. Tap EZ-ELD900xxx and then tap on Unpair.
  4. Hold the button on the ELD until it beeps 3 times. Then open Driver app.
  5. Press Pair New Device, and then select the device when it appears.
  6. Enter label for the device, press pair and connect, press the button on the ELD to turn the light green, press OK.
  7. Enter Bluetooth PIN, and then tap OK.
    • Note: You will hear a beep that indicates that you are paired to the device. Bluetooth PIN is visible on the label of the device, on the QR code sticker or on the back label of the Driver's Manual.
  8. Enter username and password, or enter the invitation key if prompted.

Troubleshooting Steps 3 :

  1. Go to Phone Settings.
  2. Tap on Bluetooth.
  3. Tap on the gear or cog wheel beside the EZ-ELD900xxx and then tap on Forget Device.
  4. Tap EZ-ELD900xxx again under the Available Devices
    • Note: This will prompt the BT Pairing Request screen.
  5. Before entering BT PIN make sure to press EZ-ELD middle button first then enter BT PIN and then tap OK.
    • Note: You will hear a beep that indicates that you are now connected.
  6. After connecting through the settings, you'll be informed to re-enter into EZ-ELD application and pair as normal.

Troubleshooting Steps 4:

  1.  Unplug and replug EZ-ELD. Make sure it's tightly connected.
  2. Wait 90 seconds till LED light change to green.
  3. Open Driver app and pair new device.

Troubleshooting Steps 5:

  1. Please try another phone or tablet to isolate the issue and see if it will work.
