Production Release 11 - Applicable to all MKII MirrorEye Systems MKII ECU Version 2.37.4
Feature improvements - Firmware 2.37.4 implements updates to handling of Night Mode. MirrorEye system will now start up in day mode with every key cycle. In most scenarios, the Steering Wheel position will no longer be affected during start up resulting in calibration error pop up on the driver monitor. Improved error handling related to features of CAN, Power Fold, IR Led, and Monitors. Resolves auto panning issue in new DTNA Freightliner's manufactured after June 2025 using SAST03 sensor.
Requirements:
- Computer with a RJ45 (ethernet) port or an adapter to an available port,
 - USB port for power
 - if using a RadMoon - requires Fakra coax cable device to the ECU
 



Please review the SOP before continuing. This walks through the required connection setup and interface screen. This will install the latest system release version 11

If firmware is 2.2.2 you must run MK2_SDM_V0.3.8  then run MK2 SDM Tool v 0.4.3                                 MK2_SDM_Tool_V0.3.8
Steps to complete the update:
- Download the Interface Application from link above and save to your local computer.
 - Extract zip file. DO NOT RUN FROM THE DOWNLOADED ZIP FILE.
 - Application will be ran from this location. Engage your company IT dept if needed.
 - Once tool is installed, run MK2_SDM_tool_v0.4.3_Release 11 from this location.
 - NOTE: Good vehicle battery voltage is required for update to complete as well as computer fully charged or plugged in. This update can take up to 60 mins to complete and CANNOT lose connection once started.
 

Be sure to only be running one instance of the application. If the tool is open more than once
the following pop-up error will be displayed.

- Don’t disconnect the computer from the ECU while the update is running.
 - Keep the truck parked during the update (Update will stop if motion or vehicle speed is recognized).
 - The progress bar and the elapsed time can be check during the update.
 - Wait the message “Update completed”.
 - Click OK.
 - Click Finish.
 
After pressing Finish, the ECU and the monitors will be completely updated.
Verify in MSA or the MKII Driver menu the MPSoc VC Version is displaying 2.37.4
