Quick Guide (New Activation) 2026

Note: Installation of hardware should be complete, vehicle and system is powered on and in open air space.  Truck needs to be powered on for at least 15 minutes prior to attempting the portal activation process.  
  1. Log into My.Stoneridge.App and open the company workspace page from Available sites, My Stoneridge  
    1. In the work order screen select available work order “with or without DVR” (Has Dongle/DVR = yes or no) that matches the type of installation.  
    2. Select the hyperlink of the work order name to open and continue. 
  2. Create and attach the Asset inside the Work Order 
    1. Inside the selected Work Order page, select Attach Asset button, verify the VIN does not already exist by searching VIN in the existing asset search.    
    2. If the Asset was already created, select from the asset search. If no results from search, then create, fill in the remaining asset creation fields (VIN, Asset and Mirror Eye Version). Then select ok. 
  3. Begin system registration with syncing inventory installed  
    1. Press the button Get Inventory and follow the pop up.
    2. Enter the FA-470 Device ID and RegKey identified in the photo sample.
    3. Select Ok.
    4. On the reported inventory page, select sync all.  
      1. Verify number of listed components:
        1. 11 with DVR/dongle.
        2. 9 without DVR/dongle.
      2. If all components do not appear in the list complete the following:
        1. Truck has been keyed on for the recommended time to sync data to the cloud service; refresh get inventory search.  Does remaining inventory become available to sync? If no, continue to step 2.  
        2. Verify the FA470 device is installed in the recommended location and is in the correct orientation (led flashing light towards the sky) if correction was needed, repeat get inventory and sync. Continue to step 3 if still not resolved.  
        3. Verify all connectors are fully seated repeat get inventory.  If any lose connections were found or corrected, complete a full power cycle of the system (ignition off for 2 mins) turn back on and restart the 15 min data collection process before retrying the get inventory process.  
    5. After inventory sync is complete, close the inventory page. 
  4. Attach Photos Required to the WorkOrder
    1. Click In the Attach Photo Screen and upload the mandatory photos:
      1. FA470 and dongle labels when has DVR/dongle.
      2. FA470 label without DVR/dongle. 
  5. Review the WO, if all inventory physically installed is listed in the inventory panel, then SUBMIT the Work Order

 

 

Detail about Asset Status: Gray, Green, Red, Yellow and N/A 

  • Gray – during “in progress” work order process

  • Green – submitted or completed work order.  Need to test if ignition cycle will update service status from green. 

  • Red – SEV 1 errors reported by the system, needs investigation and resolution prior to asset release 

  • Yellow – SEV 2 – 4 errors reported by the system, needs investigation and resolution prior to asset release 

  • N/A - Will display if the Vehicle is equipped with a MirrorEye I (MEI) system or an OEM system. Enhanced Diagnostics is not available in these instances
