Monitor has a red tint noticeable during daytime driving.
Enabling Night Mode on the Mirror Eye system engages a filter that moves inside the camera behind the lens. While in night mode, impact to the camera wing or heavy shaking (i.e., hitting a speed bump, railroad crossing, potholes) may cause the filter to shift out of position.

- Verify system operation mode - day mode. Refer to the monitor icon's for current mode selection. System reset
- Inspect the affected camera wing for any signs of impact. Impact to the wing while in night mode can jar the manual filter resulting in it being stuck enabled. A stuck Night Mode Filter can be restored to its original position by tapping the Camera Wing. Verify the system is in day mode, tap the wing lightly on the top of the wing. This can release the filter to the normal position.
- Toggle night mode on and off to confirm lens filter operation
- If the filter does not reset, the camera wing will need to be replaced. If warranty remains on the system tag the removed part for RMA to Stoneridge EPDC Lab.
