MKII - Monitors show Low Brightness

Truck ignition is on; all monitors are showing image on screen.

Symptoms and perceived side effects

Truck ignition is on, other accessories and the instrument cluster are working as expected, but Driver and Passenger side monitor showing low brightness image.

Troubleshooting and possible resolution steps

  1.  Turn ignition OFF, wait for system to power down completely (wait 2 minutes for power down) 
  2. Turn ignition ON and check to see if Issue is resolved

  3. If issue persists, Perform the following checks:
    1. Check the brightness settings through Joystick controller, following the steps below:
      1. Long press on the lower-left button to access Driver's menu.
      2. Rotate the central knob until Monitor menu and press to access.
      3.  Check if Auto Brightness is ON/OFF. If it is ON, check and adjust Day/Night offset. If it is OFF, check and adjust Day/Night brightness range.
    2. Check if ambient light sensor on the monitors is blocked,
      1. If blocked, then unblock ambient light sensor on the monitors and verify brightness issue is corrected
