MEI / MKII - MirrorEye latest software releases

A reference to the latest MirrorEye software release, organized by product generation and subsystem.

The Mirror Eye product has two generations and one optional subsystem (DVR).

In terms of software versioning, the first generation (MEI) has camera updates, while the second generation (MKII) has the software embedded in the ECU component.

The DVR subsystem is compatible with both generations and has independent software version.

Option 1 - By truck

1- Access the driver menu using the MirrorEye joystick by pressing and holding (2–5 seconds) the lower-left button (to access Driver Side data) or the lower-right button (to access Passenger Side data).

2-Scroll the central knob and click when the “Status” option is found.


3-Scroll the central knob until you find “MirrorEye Camera”; the software version will be below it.


Option 2 - By MSA portal

1-Log in the portal (https://my.stoneridge.app)

2-Select the company (top-left corner of the home page).

3-Search and  select the Asset ID/VIN number by global search (search bar at the top center of the screen) or by  the search bar under Assets / Fleet.

4-On the Asset details screen, scroll down until you find the “Inventory” section; see a table listing the cameras and their firmware versions, which will display the software version information.

*Who needs to update the MKII ECU to 2.37.4?

  • DTNA 2026 vehicles equipped with Steering Angle Sensor (SAST03) must be updated or running 2.37.4;

  • ECU Software Version reporting 255.255.255. Check and repair, if needed, any logged system errors in MSA Portal. Then update to 2.37.4 will correct version broadcasting.
